Wrote to the cast of The Secret Life of Bees and got my SASE back with my picture torn inside it. Someone wrote "Think About What You Wrote, And Write Back!" on the back of my envelope.

Maybe it could be the fact that I thought that The Secret Life of Bees was a broadway show like The Color Purple and Wicked, and requested a playbill as well in my letter?? I don't know, haha

That's really mean, It was an honest mistake. Sorry about your failure

You should have made sure you knew what the production was before you sent it off but why did they rip your picture? That was rather mean and they said, 'think about what you wrote'? That makes it sound as if you wrote something bad but oh well you should have double checked your letter.

When did the production close? I sent about a week and a half ago, and I just sent a different picture and a letter apologizing/explaining the confusion on how I thought it was a Broadway show, not a movie production.
