their concert at the pagent was 5/30, so im surprised it got there in time [[i sent it the saturday before memorial day, so i assumed that since it would've gotten held up on sunday AND monday and then it woulda gotten there like a day late]]

i sent a letter, lyrics to L.G.FAUD, and a SASE. there was no return address, so im not posting a scan of it. it was postmarked from omaha, ne though. i'm very happy with this success, MCS is a really great band! {love}

I'm not a huge fan of MCS, but I like the idea you used with lyrics instead of a picture.

haha thanks =] i didnt have anymore big envelopes so i needed something that could be folded and put in a small envelope. i also didnt think i had any pictures of them. it was after i sent it out that i realized that i had like 2 in a magazine and one on my wall. lmao

That's a really good idea if you don't have a picture of them.

I might have to try that for the smaller bands I like that aren't big enough to make it in magazines.

I'm always too nervous to send pictures to bands that I
really like incase I don't get them back, but I might have to try sending lyrics now.


And since they're smaller bands, there is probably a better chance of them signing.

yupp =] thats why i hesitated sending kate walsh a pic to send, cuz i hjad to rip it out of a magazine and i HATE ripping pictures out of magazines. im very OCD about them. haha but i took a leap of faith, so let's see what happens.

I took a chance the second time I sent to Cody Linley two years ago.
It came back as an RTS and my picture was all mangled. :neutral:

well even though they're not like, a small band anymore i think i'm gonna send out to mayday parade. i love their music but i didnt get to meet them at bamboozle because i was there the day they weren't :mad: lol

and maybe i'll send out to death cab too. i really like their new cd. and if i discover some small bands in my issue of AP i might send some to them too =]
