Received: Signed playbill by the entire cast, a headshot, and a note that was 3 pages long!


Leigh Ann Larkin is defanetly one of the new "triple" threats on Broadway! She's beautiful (as I'm sure you can see by the picture), a singer, and a great actress! She is currently making her Broadway debut in PATTI LuPONE GYPSY which stars 2008 Tony Award Winners: Patti LuPone as Rose, Boyd Gaines as Herbie and Laura Benanti as the title role herself, Gypsy Lee Rose. Leigh Ann plays the role "June", Rose's sister, and the "talented" one of the two during their time as a "clean-act" show with Gypsy, who is infact shy. At the end of Act 1, June leaves the show leaving her mother determined to make Gypsy a star to show that June was wrong for leaving her.

Unfortunately Ms. Larkin was not nominated, but she should have! She's terriffic! She invited me to write her again if I come up with any more questions . Best of Luck to her with the rest of the Gypsy run.

EDIT: There was a return address, but I'm just about 100% certain that it's her home address and won't post it. The Gypsy run is open-ended, meaning you can write to her there should you write this talented lady!

I was drafting a letter a little early on the week. Now I am surely going to write to her. Thanks a bunch for sharing!

I for sure will now. I am gonna send my broadway stuff probably all together to save me the hassle, but Leigh Ann Larkin for sure. Did you request that signed playbill from her though? I don't want to be over myself asking one individual for a playbill

In my letter, I asked a ton of questions and I asked her if she could sign a playbill, and if it's not too much of a hassel a headshot too. She gladly sent both, but the playbill was signed by everyone . If you don't know, backstage usually there are a big pile of cast-signed playbills, and that's probably what happened. Patti LuPone, Kelli O'Hara sent me inscribed playbills signed by just them (two random people) and Lin Manuel Miranda sent me one that was just signed by him -- so I guess it's all on the person.
