I used the email addy I found on this website to contact Tim Allen for an autographed picture. I sent the email November 10/06 and received the picture November 29/06. Thank you FanMail!

Congrats on your success. Since your are new to Fanmail.biz, I like to mention that the email address of Tim Allen is from Studio Fan Mail which is a 3rd party company who are hired by certain celebrities to handle autograph requests for them. The celebrities never see the emails sent to Studio Fan Mail email addresses, they are read by employees of SFM who then send out the autographs.

All of the autographs from Studio Fan Mail aka SFM are not real. The pictures are real but the signatures aren't. They are pre-prints or autopens, with a pre-print, a celebrity signs one picture & copies are made from that picture. A autopen is a machine which signs a persons name, basically put, a celebrity puts their real signature into a templete into the machine, inserts a picture & the machine copies their signature onto the picture.

There is a forum for autographs gotten thru SFM, it's at http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewforum.php?f=121 . A mod will probably move this thread over to that forum.
