This was artwork drawn by me over the course of i think a few days to possibly a week. I had watched a couple different videos of steve where he was asked "If there was a voice you've never had the opportunity to do, but wish you had, who would it be?". He answered with "Sailor moon". Roomate came up to me and said "What if spike was wearing a sailor outfit". Me "Oh. my. god... XD" I havent laughed and cried so hard in my life. I didn't just draw Spike, i drew the main cast of sailors all as characters steve has voiced...All these men in miniskirts is ridiculous.I never EVER draw fanart...especially something like this..because there's only going to be a select amount of people who get it. I've never mailed fanart to any VA as well. This was a first for me.
I wrote steve a letter as well and he actually wrote me a one page letter back. He said "I love your artwork! -wonderfully sick as it is!". I wore my heart on my sleeve for the letter as cheesy as it may be but he could tell and i made some comment near the end of my letter about getting a sailor moon wig. I meant it in passing but Steve one upped me. At the end of my letter he wrote "If dressing as a sailor makes you laugh - I'll be more than happy to do it!". I wish i could say i didn't cry upon getting this but I did. This meant the world to me. I was actually pretty worried that he'd be freaked out about the drawing but this letter was all the confirmation i needed.

Spike had the most influence on me since that was the first show i had ever seen. I have watched his other works too. I was 16/17 when i first saw CB and it had a huge impact on me. I used to be very quiet and shy. I hardly said anything to anyone. I had alot of issues with my mom (as did the rest of my family, sadly) and I started to emulate spike's attitude as stupid as that probably is. It gave me something to look up to. I now have a lip that makes a sailor blush and it's helped me so much. I'm really grateful for that role in particular. Sorry. My fangirl is showing XD
