Does SFM actually get read by celebs? In my message I only put: Can I have a signed SFM photo of Sarah Michelle Gellar to my address please? + My Address. I ask this because in the subject of the auto-reply it said, 'Your Message To Sarah Michelle Gellar'. Also, I live in the UK so how long will it take to recieve my signed photo?
Thanks.

Hi acwilliams
No, none of your requests sent to SFM will get read by the relevant celebrity (well, there might be the tiniest remote chance).
SFM is a company employed by the celebrity to handle their fan mail and send authorised photos on their behalf.
The only people who read your email (and I highly doubt they even read it, they probably only look for your address) are probably those employed to write the addresses on the envelopes and post them out.
As for you writing: "Can I have a signed SFM photo of Sarah Michelle Gellar to my address please? + My Address" - it'll probably work. I usually like to write it as a brief email such as "Dear _______, I liked your work in __________________. Can I please have a photo sent to the address below ___________________. Thank you. Kind regards [Your name]"
It'll probably take a few months (maybe 1 1/2 + months to get a photo, that's how long it takes me to get it).

With SFM emails you dont have to write a lot. I just write:
Name,
Can I have an autographed photo? Thanks.
My address
I have gotten plenty of SFM using this method. It doesnt go to celeb. MAybe if you write a really good letter they pass it on, but chances are slim in my opinion.

Hi acwilliams
It can take up to 6 months for SFM successes to be sent to the UK

I am also in the UK and the quickest success I have had from SFM has taken 4 1/2 months.
