hi people your all smarter then me i just need some help see i have irc the letter thats going to be sent to lindsey shaw and one small envolope and one big one,do i put the letter in the small one and the irc inside the small one then put my address on it and put it in the big one, the big one is for lindsey to put a photo of her with he autograph on it i hope you can help me thanks alot! and il put her address on the big one

I think you are a bit confused

You need 2 envelopes.

One envelope needs your address on, and you attach your IRCs to this, (I usually paperclip mine to it).

You then put this envelope inside another one together with your request letter.

This envelope has the address for the celeb on the front. You then need to get this whole lot weighed and the proper amount of postage paid.

You then mail off your package!!!!!

You just need to make sure the envelope with the IRC's attached is big enough for the photograph you expect to get.

It is therefore better if the IRC envelope is the bigger one if you are sending two of different sizes

Make the bigger envelope the one you send with your IRCs and your address on it. Put the bigger envelope in the smaller one together with your letter, and her address on the outside (of the smaller one).

so i put my address letter and the irc in the big 1 do i clip the irc with a paperclip and put them hangin outside on inside and then i put tht small envolope that iam going to put lindseys name on it and her address then wen she gets it she will put tht photo of her in the big envolope sorry i ask so many questions iam so stupid and thanks soo much for your help ian

but my mate just sed to me now tht she just got 1 envolope and a letter a irc and stuck it all in 1 envolope and will the celeb give u a brand new envolope lol

As was perviously said, Ian is a very experienced collector, and knows more about auto collecting than any of us.

Let me see if I can help you,

To write to any celeb that is out of your country, you need to send a letter, an SAE and some IRC's for he/she to purchase stamps from their country.

First, You get a small envelope (This one is for the celeb to send a photo to you in. A good size is about an 8inx10in). This is often called SASE or SAE. On this you put your address. You do not need to put anything inside it.

Then you need a large envelope (9inx12in) is a good size. On this you put the celebs address and postage from your country. (Take this to your local post office, after you have everything in it, to get the correct amount of postage In this envelope, you put your smaller envelope, letter, and any IRC's you may have.
