Photo Release HELP PLEASE!

Unread post by mamatyndi »

Hello- I do not have a good home printer so I uploaded 2 photos to the Walgreens website for them to print out. I went to pick them up yesterday and was told I cannot have them without a photo release. I got the pics from Google Images and neither of them have copyright marks on them. What can I do? Thanks

I had a similar problem with my Walgreens. There are people on here who have told their printer person that it is just for autograph collecting and the person lets them do it without having a form.

If I recall correctly, I told the clerk that it was just for personal use but they made me fill out some sort of form: name, address, etc and there were a few choices about the photos that said, A) I am the photographer (I forgot what B was) but C) was something about "Under Fair Access."

C is the one I did. I've had to do it a couple times but my guess is that walgreens doesn't want to get sued.

Either go to Walmart/Costco or use an online printer. No need to fill out that garbage.

Thanks everyone! I'm going to try these options and see which works best.

The best option is to have walgreens or snapfish mail the photos to you instead of in store pick up
