Printing and Paying for Postage Online

I was just wondering if this actually works. I'm in the US and if you go on Royal Mail.com you can pay postage online and print it on the envelope. Is this a good idea when sending from the US to the UK and printing it on my SASE?? This would be instead of buying stamps from England or buying IRCs, which are expensive.

Any suggestions??

It sounds like a good idea. I have no idea though if they will allow you to register/enter a US address.

What I would recommend is asking them via Twitter (if you are on there), they are fab at replying to tweets.

Well you could try a test purchase, register and print some postage out to see if it works.

But with online postage I do think that they won't accept a US address as the sender, but it's worth a try.

Sorry, but Online Postage is only valid until the end of the next day after purchasing, which means it has to be posted on the same or next day after purchasing.

So stamps or IRC's are the only way.
