getting david tennants autograph?

hi, I am send a letter with photo inside. As well as a fully stamped self addressed envelope inside addressed to me, I really want to send it to David tennant in the next few days , the best doctor. I am just wondering i have been looking at instructions on

do you think it would matter if i send the photo and self addressed letter in a padded/jiffy bag to him, that way i would have it weighed and be sure that it would be sent. Also there is the fact of the photo being safer inside. Do you think it would make it more successful or worse if i sent it in one or make no difference at all. It would be a dream come true to receive a personally signed photo from him, it is something i have wanted for ever and i have never been able to send a photo before, but in a few days i will . I don't want to send it if he wouldn't even look at it, im sure he would do. Would a padded bag a little larger than a5 make any difference to him opening and sending the photo back in a envelope.

I am new to the website and autograph collecting, any help appreciated.

Hi tyler_jrb, I had a success last year with the address in the database. I got my reply before I joined this site though, so my success is on my autograph page (in my signature).
If you want to look one of them is in the folder named: "ACTORS Autographs Part 1" and one in "DOCTOR WHO Autographs".

As for sending a padded envelope, you shouldn't need to.
I personally haven't and 95% of my replies have came back absolutely fine.
If you are worried it wont be sent, go to the Post Office to send it.

Hi, Thank you so much I just got two normal envelopes from the post office and two large stamps as the envelopes are a4 and a little smaller, I will be sending them at the post office in the next few days. I have addressed the larger one to him and then put the smaller self addressed envelope(with stamp) and letter with photo inside the larger one. As i say thank you very much this has helped me a lot and hopefully i will get a reply, I know it will be some months but I don't mind waiting as he is my favorite actor.

Forgot to mention i will be adding cardboard to keep the photo from bending and writing (do not bend) on both letters also, I really hope i get a reply and its something i would keep forever.

Hi, I sent my envelope off today, I couldn't find a good picture online so I had to print one using some photo paper. It looks OK, close up it has some pixelation but its the best I can get. I have added in the envelope a letter asking if he had a propper spare doctor who photo lying around if he could possibly use that as my picture isnt to the best quality, It looks good but not perfect. I will still be very very happy if i get my picture signed back from him as it looks good but not as good as one you can buy which you cannot buy anymore.
