Hi Elphieba
Unfortunately, the Feedback forum is to post details of your successes by requesting through the mail. Another moderator will move this post shortly.
It's great that you've been able to receive successes. However, please observe the guidelines when posting details of your successes here.
If you want to be added to the draw to win a $10 Allposters.com gift certficate, have a look at the rules here.
If you want to know whether the autographs are real, you need to:
1. Compare with other autographs received. Make sure they look similar (but not exactly the same)
2. Shine a light against the signature on your photo. The ink from the signature should reflect differently to the photo.
Good luck!

Hi Elphieba
Welcome to the forum
The best way to tell if your success is genuine or not is to search the forum for a similar success and compare what you got. Generally, MOST celebs will sign authentically for you through the mail.
Occasionally some may send you a preprinted autograph, but on the whole these are easily detectable when you compare them to others from the same person.
Just as a bit of info for you, Michael Palin's autographs are usually genuine
To find details of other peoples autograph successes you can download the Fanmail.biz toolbar which allows you to search the database by celebrity name: http://www.fanmail.biz/toolbar/toolbar.php
Good luck!
