I am new to all of this and i want to start a collection! Can people please exclaim what a SASE, TTM, and all the lingo that goes on? Also do i have to put another envelope into the one that i am sending? whats a good size envelope to send...?
I just have questions and i hope you guys can help... :/

TTM = Through The Mail
SASE = Self Addressed Stamped Envelope

I send my own pictures and include a SASE so that I can get my stuff back. As far as the size of the envelope goes, it really just depends on what your sending and how big it is. If your just sending 4x6 photos with a letter, I just use a #10 (4 1/8 x 9 1/2) envelope.

ill walk you through quickly on whats what,
send a regular env, ( really the smallest one that will fit your pic), include another one inside of it, with just your name for the return, they will put whatever they want , because sometimes you will mail it to California and the return post stamp will be from new york. you can use any size envelope, it shouldn't add to much postage if any. so that covers them being able to return it will minimal effort
the way i do it is ALWAYS put something for them to sign. they may be in a cabin in the woods going through mail and have no access to any of their photos ( you get the point)
and as far as the reutrn envelope, think of it as the person who you are sending a letter to has no money, so make sure you have it filled out and stamped
hope this isnt drawn out, i have only been doing this for about 6 months so i know how it can be confusing

9x12 I use them. I don't send my own pics but if there is a certain pic u like I would suggest u send it. Some times when people give them pics they some times send them back signed or unsigned or don't send them back, it mostly depends on who it is.

Good luck with your collecting, for future reference, there are collecting help forums on this site, which is where questions like this should be posted, not feedback. There are also threads in collecting help which answer all these questions.

I can't help but notice more and more people are posting EVERYTHING in the feedback forum these days, is there a reason why this is suddenly so bad? As I've said time and time again, surely FEEDBACK is quite a straightforward term and explains what type of posts should be made in a forum.
