Tips on postage

Unread post by raleigha15 »

i have a huge question on postage. I am a college student now. the bad thing is i have already spent well over 150-200 dollars on stamps! i am trying to find out a way to ever cut down on that price without losing all the stamps. if that is even possible. and im so sorry about doing the poor routine but it actually has been on my mind for quite some time. Im just wondering if there is a way to get free postage or reduced postage? i would really appreciate it. Im sorry for being that guy who asks dumb questions or questions on cheating the govt out. (i want to be a poli sci major) i understand how dumb this question is but i am just broke now and have 385349583 other people i want to send to.

I don't have many tips i'm afraid, other than to postpone sending your requests until you have the money.

You could look at the feedback of celebs you want to send to to see if they ever have paid for return postage.

In the UK it is cheaper to send a 6x4 photo than an 8x10, is that something which might help? Personally I would love to be sending 8x10's but since I can't afford to I don't.

Is there a way you could raise some extra $, perhaps selling old stuff on eBay or through classifieds?

Look at buying envelopes in bulk, could save you a little towards stamps.

thanks. I tried stamps.com for the free $5 postage. that was good for a couple haha. not nearly enough I wanted.

The UK is very similar with the postage. it is so much cheaper to send 4x6 than 8x10. I personally send 4x6 because less on my ink printer and I can send a lot more:)

Thanks for some of the tips. I can use these in some cases.
