Advice for sending a fan letter?

I've already written it, and printed it out. Do I just put it an envelope and send it, or are there rules and conventions I might overlook, such as
extra required documents for the talent agency?

Hi :)

Add a self addressed stamped envelope with your letter. It doubles your chance of success :)
