I usually type mine on the computer and print it. Don't make it too short but don't be a suck up. Make it sincere.

Forget the letter, just put a Post-It on your item and write "sign here" with an arrow pointing to where you want the autograph.

Just tell the celeb what you love about them (music or movies they been in). Just tell them you'd love an autographed photo.
