Need help with sending my first letter

Hi eveyone!

I'm new to collecting autographs and I was planning on sending my first letter this week. I already have the letter and the pictures ready, but I have a problem. I live in the Netherlands and I need to send my letter to the US. I wanted to include an IRC in my letter, but they don't sell it anymore in the Netherlands. I was wondering, can I include some dollars in my letter? Or wil the celebrity not send my letter back then?

They don't sell IRC's in the UK anymore either. I always send $3, a SAE and LOR to the states and I have had quite a few back. This is probably the best way, if you don't have any US Stamps :D
