Type of Stationery

Unread post by jeffgordongal_24 »

Hi,

I'm new here so please forgive me if this question has been addressed a dozen times already (I'm still trying to read all the tips and posts) :?

What type of stationery do most of you use for your requests? I don't have a lot of extra money to purchase really expensive stock so I'm worried about using paper of inferior quality and looking really bad.

Thanks,

Kathy

Welcome to Fanmail!!!

About stationery:
Your stationery doesn't have to be expensive, find a kind that you like and use it. (I like lines on my paper that way my writting doesn't end up slanted.)
What you may find that you like to do, is get a note pad that's not expensive, write your letter and then add stickers to it. It would be a good way to make your stationery look nice and show the person your writing a little bit of your personality.
I hope that answered your question (and I hope you were able to understand what I said. :) )

Best Wishes,
Mimmi

I just use normal lined paper with a biro, but putting stickers on would make it look cool.

Then again, you could argue that its the content of the letter rather than the stationary, in which case you can save yourself some money :D

For your great responses and help!

I appreciate them (and you) very much.

I haven't gotten around to starting my letter yet but hopefully soon. I fell a couple of weeks ago and hurt my hand and my fingers are still swollen so going to be awhile before I can write legibly.

I'm going to use your tips though when I am able to write.

Thanks again!

Have a great day and week guys!

Kath
