How many stamps for 9x12 envelope?

I'll be sending a letter and 1 photo in each in a 9x12 envelope..how many US stamps should I put on?

Where is it going? I send one large photo for 2 forever stamps (0.98) from an address in the US to another address in the US. International will be much more-$2 plus.

It's within the US. I'm sending a 5x7 photo and letter, not sure if that makes any difference but I'll still put 2, thanks!

You are putting your letter and 5x7 photo in a 9x12 or is the 9x12 your SASE? For your SASE 2 stamps should work but depending on the weight of the envelope to the celebrity it might be 0.21 more.

I am putting my letter and 5x7 in the 9x12 envelope and my SASE is a 9x12..I was originally going to send the celebs 8x10 photos but since they will be a bit costly I decided to go with the 5x7's and I just bought the envelopes..so I'm just using what I have for now.

With the 9x12 SASE, letter and 5x7 photo in a 9x12, I think you need at least 1.19 on the outside envelope. Might be safer to put 3 stamps on the envelope to the star.
