You could, but I would send them seperatly, just because I think it's much more respectful if you address 3 seprate envelopes, one for 5SOS and one for 1D and Olly Murs :)

There are several celebrities residing in the UK that I would love to write to. Problem being that I live in the US. I've read the sticky thread here about international postage and have even attempted to figure out the Royal Mail's website. But the issue I have is that, since I do live in the US, I'm not that familiar with the metric system for weights.

Can anyone in the UK offer some advice on how much postage you use to send a SASE, LOR and let's say one 8x10 photo to the US?

Once I get that sorted, I'll try to figure out how to get some UK postage.

Thanks in advance.

I have weighed an A4 sized envelope, which includes 3 x 12x8 photos and this comes in at around 110g in weight.

Sending 3x 12x8 photos in an envelope is going to cost around £4.50 ($7.50 estimated).

That being said, I would assume that a single 10x8 in an envelope should come in at around 20-30g but I would weigh it before sending, of course.

Your mail office should be able to confirm this for you.

I would research International Reply Coupons (IRC's) too or find out if Global Air Mail Stamps will work from US to UK as I know they work from UK to US.

Nice of you to try and help but I suspect user is a troll.

They have exactly, apart from the smilies, copied and pasted a topic posted by another member:

http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic ... 7&t=335038

Which already had been replied to with answers anyway.

Also newly registers user, one post, smells fishy to me.
