Question for folks in the US.

Unread post by carlosreddevil »

Hi all - this is pretty much a question for US collectors on the site who have recently written to stars in the UK. When you were posting your initial letter to the UK, how much postage did you put on to send it (I'm talking bog-standard letter and possibly a pic in an envelope, nothing exceptionally large or heavy)? I'm hoping to write to someone in the US but have no idea what to add to cover postage for the return letter (fingers crossed!!). Any help much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

You should be fine with the price for First Class International letter up to 1oz.

www.usps.com has all the info and a price calculator.

I know you wanted replies from US collectors but I do USA SASE's often and the web link will help {up}

Thanks, that's great. Out of interest, what do you usually add to cover return postage cost?

I use American stamps. Some people get US $1 bills and use those.

All the stamp and price info is on usps.com, and many topics on this section cover how to get stamps/currency etc, loads of people ask the same or similar questions!
