Writing the Director?

I had a question and I wanted to see if any of you knew the answer. The new film "Gone, Baby, Gone"'s address in CAUP is a set address so I know it'll probably work. But the only person I want to write there is the Director, Ben Affleck. Will the director get the letter or is it only for the stars in it?

I'm assuming the via venue address should work for both the stars and those behind the scenes {up}
