I got autographs by sending artwork. Does anyone else ?

Uploaded with surfmypictures[/img]when i had a lot of time on my hands awhile back i would do partial artworks on a celeb and mail it to them, asking if they would like to have it finished (free) This got them to engage with me a little and often led to full-blown letters. I'm just wondering if anyone has tried this; its a great ice-breaker and certainly not the standard request for an autograph. You're giving a little something as you politely ask for something yourself ! I'm just wondering if there is any interest here in seeing some of my work and some of the replies. Nothing current, its all things from the 80s/90s.
