Danish, German, Austrian and Swedish Stamp Help!

Unread post by kerrcurr »

Hi,
Basically I live in London and I want to send four self addressed and stamped envelopes to four different countries to request autographs.
These include one to Emmelie De Forest in Denmark, one to Lena Meyer-Landrut in Germany, one to Conchita Wurst in Austria and one to Loreen in Sweden.
The only problem is that Royal Mail no longer sell International Reply Coupons and I'm weary about sending Euros ect in the post.
Therefore, I would like some help on what and where to buy stamps for the relevant countries which would provide enough postage to send decent sized letters back to Britain.
Thanks.

Sending Euros might be cheaper for you since you only have a few letters.

You might try the buying selling forum on here but also eBay. You do meet to look into what denomination stamps you'll need and local collectors might be able to help with that.

Well, Sweden doesn't use euro so this means Loreen would have to exchange them.

http://www.postnord.se/en/shop/Pages/shop-stamps.aspx

If you scroll down you can buy a few stamps with the value of 14 kr (or SEK)

For up to 50 gram you'll need a 14 kr stamp, for up to 100 gram you'll need two of these. I doubt you'll send anything heavier if you just want a picture.

(in case somebody else reads this, these are the prices for sending abroad within Europe, not for abroad in general)

I wouldn't bother buying stamps with any less value, as 14 is the standard.

If you've got any questions, just let me know! I might be able to help out :)

Good luck! {up}
