bands doing VIP via venue

This seems like a bone head question, but I'd like a second opinion, or two... or three...

I have tried two bands via venue recently. Testament and Nightwish. I learned that both (after the fact) were doing VIP on that tour. I have yet to get a response. Going on two months. Maybe I'm jumping the gun but should I not hear back do you think that may be why? Anyone have a similar story?
