IRCs
I feel so stupid asking this, because of how experienced I've become with writing, and the fact that I'm a moderator. I've never used IRCs before, because I could never find a post office that had them, and when I finally did, they only had two, and said they hadn't sold any in five years...
So I never looked at the info about IRCs. And...I was just wondering...would I still need two IRCs to get an 8x10 back from only the States, not over the ocean? I do have two, so don't be afraid to say 'yes.'

Hi Kirstie
One IRC will cover a standard letter to anywhere in the world.
I know that when I get letters back from the US after sending 1 IRC, the stamp is only worth 84 cents in postage (I only send out 6x4's to sign anyway) :x
Since you do live in Canada, I know that it's cheaper to send mail there than to send mail to Australia and other countries which aren't as close.
Generally, two IRC's will cover larger 8x10 photos and envelopes. However, I think it may be possible to get away with 1 IRC
, but it's probably best to send 2 (I know how expensive they are!!).
Good luck with however many you decide to send ... although it's much better if you find a way to get US stamps.

Hey there!!!
I live in canada as well and used to use IRC's ALL the time when sending to the states or international. When i used to write to the US, i used 1 IRC and got away with just one the whole time. However, when writing to someone in the UK i would have to send 2 or 3 to cover the postage!!!
If your sending 4x6's i would only use one for both USA and International
For 8x10's to the USA i would send 2 IRC's and for International use 2 or 3.
