Letter Length ?
I wrote out a letter and it's a front and back of a piece of paper.
I don't want it to seem too long, but I want to make sure it isn't too short either. My hand writing is right in the middle between big and small, but I could probably write smaller if needed.

Hello there!!!
I usually write about 1 page without skipping lines in my letters when i send out a request. As long as it isn't PAGES and pages long, it's okay. You have to keep in mind that the celebrity gets 100's of requests. I would say that a page letter would be good enough but what you have is fine as well!!! The celebrity you are writting too will really appreciate your letter!!!
Hope that helps!!

I am right there with Crissy... my letters are usually right at a page long, and usually broken up into 3 paragraphs. The 1st part of my letter is just briefly telling them how big of a fan I am of them and might tell them what they've been in that I really enjoyed (like a favorite show or movie). The 2nd paragraph is when I will ask them to sign what I have enclosed or ask for their autograph if I didn't send them anything to have signed. The 3rd paragraph is just a short sentence or 2 telling them that I appreciate their time and consideration regarding my request and that even if they are unable to accomodate my request, they will have a fan for life. I close it with thanks for the memories past, present and most certainly future but of course there will always be exceptions to that part depending on who I am writing too! I have had a ton of success using this method but it took some fine tuning before I got really comfortable with what I was sending out. You'll get your niche and be getting those awesome 9x12 envelopes in your mailbox before you know it! Best of luck to you!

It is better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6.
