RESENDING Question

Unread post by firefan »

I have recently sent an autograph request to an actress but only a letter with nothing else. One month later I resent it the proper way, including photos and SASE, is that a good thing I did, or bad?? Should I have waited for a response from the first one?? I know I probably have a better chance now since I included photos to sign and paid for postage with an envelope provided!! Please let me know what you think about this topic!! Thanks for taking the time to read this and helping me!!! :D

Hi firefan :D

Well ... it is a bit late considering you've already sent your request :P

Normally I would have waited a little longer, but I don't believe that your second request with the SASE & photos will harm your chances of receiving a success. If she does realise you've sent 2 requests, she may only choose to respond to your second one  If not, you may be lucky enough to receive responses to both your requests.

The worse that could happen right now is that you may get 2 successes, or not receive anything at all.

I guess in the future, you may want to wait a little longer (say over 6 months or even up to a year) before writing again, especially if you've seen successes from the celebrity from people who have sent a request around the same time as you.

Good luck!

Hi!!

We think that it´s a good idea.
I wrote 2 times to Amy Adams via ``Enchanted´´ because in my first letter, I didn´t include nothing :)
