There arent any IRC's in my post office's so what can I use instead for a letter from the U.K to the U.S.A? I've heard people talking about using US dollars but how do I get them seeing as I live in the U.K? And where do I put the money and how much? Please help!
Thanks

Like discussed before, go to a larger/main post office or change money at a bureau de change to the currency that you are writing to

Additionally, you can try purchasing US stamps from eBay or the USPS website by clicking the link

You should send a SAE and you can explain that you live on a small city and there aren´t IRC´s ...

Hi ivybeenz
You should try to send only a SAE (without IRC's) or change your money at the exchange office.
Good luck!{up}
