well , sase and ircs gives you more chance of getting a reply or a faster reply ! And , you could look ather feedbcaks from other members that sent a request to the artiat that you want to send a request , and you look if they require sase ( like some celebs do ) or not !

It depends on who you are writing to. If you are writing to someone, within the country you live in, only an SASE is required. If you are writing to any other country (USA, Australia, UK, Canada etc.), You should either include an SAE with up to 2 IRC's in hope of a reply.
