William Morris Agency & CAA

Unread post by Emmylousboy »

Has anyone had any successes from anyone represented by either the William Morris Agency or Creative Artists Agency?

I have read on a couple of different websites that these agencys do not forward fan mail to the celebrities they represent. Is this true?

Any help is greatly appreciated because there are several artists I'd like to write but they are at one or the other of the above addresses.

Thanks,

Hi, I have actually had success with William Morris Agency a few time. I had success with Anne Hathaway, Lucy Liu, Mark Ruffalo ( I believe this one is secretary because it is nothing like the one I got IP), Ginnifer Goodwin, and Sasha Alexander. So in my opinion they don't seem to be too bad. I have never had succes with CAA and infact I think it is waste of your stamps to send any letter there because I have not heard a many success from there.

I wrote to David Koechner via William Morris Agency about 6 months ago and I'm still waiting for a reply!

CAA seems to be a waste of time and money. I've never seen a success thru there except from Melissa Joan Hart until people started to get RTS's. I've only written to CAA once and that was awhile ago. So I would avoid them but WMA are usually very good at fowarding fanmail {up}

I've been waiting about 4 months for my Sigourney weaver reply at WMA. Maybe I should have sent a photo :| :?

Not long ago, I sent a request TTM to a celebrity who I like & it was to Creative Artists Agency. Now I'm not sure if that was a good idea.

I don't understand why CAA wouldn't forward the fanmail to the celebrities who they represent. And there is one major problem, CAA is the largest agency in Hollywood so they are screwing many fans out of a chance to write to their favorite actors.
