UK to US help

I've been collecting UK based signed pics for some time now, but the problem is a relatively large majority of my favourites are in the US.

I have been put off by the fact that I have around 100 or so people I want to send to, but the cost of each letter one way to the US is more than a £1, not even considering the US to UK price for the SASE's.

This quickly adds up to be unrealistic, so I have been thinking to find someone in the US to send one big parcel to with all my USA based LOR's all with domestic stamps (US TO US) and then that person could open the parcel and send all the letters out in one go. I would have included the SASE's with a US to UK stamp, so I could just wait for them to come back to me directly, and I would only need someone to send all my letters out in one go in one trip to the post office.

This way I can save maybe half or more of the cost, as sending all in one go and then having them individually sent domestically is a lot cheaper, and I can just wait for them to arrive back to the UK.

I would very much appreciate if a fellow collector from the US could chime in here and help me out, I would be happy to pay some compensation in the form of stamps etc or I could do a similar arrangement for the UK, for US collectors who have a lot of UK people they want to send to but find the cost to be a issue, especially if you have a lot of people to send to.
