Spanish stamps

Hi community! I've sent several letters to some actors and actresses in USA in August 2017. The point is in the returning envelope I put two spanish stamps (my country) but international category. I am wondering if maybe some of them have answered but because of the stamps I never received any. Someone from an european country could share his/her experience with me, please? Because I love this hobby but is very frustrating never receiving answers.

I'm afraid you used the wrong stamps.

You needed to put USA stamps on the returning envelope.

I knew my post office gave me wrong information... Thank you so much, because I spent too much money on useless stamps. It won't happen once more. Thank you again!
