I always use "Dear Mr. or Ms.".

that's good, and never end a letter saying Your #1 fan or your biggest Fan

I'm sure celebs get alot of letters ending that way.And the most important thing is to be honest.

Whenever I write to someone I just say....

Dear _______,

I do not put Mrs. or Mr.

I think the best way to end a letter would be to say...

Your fan,

or

Yours truly,
