Hello everyone,
Im a new collector, I actually only have one autograph (Kate Winslet) Can anyone give me helpful hints, or anything to be successful in this hobby? Thanks So much!

My best bit of advice is to send out as many requests as you can afford! Always try to include a stamped self-adressed envelope with your letter (SSAE) as from experience the return is much, much greater if you do.

Also, get all the addresses you need off of this website! A lot of people have spent a long, long time trying them out (believe me, I have now mailed out over 500 autograph requests!!!)

My absolute best piece of advice is for you to download the Fanmail toolbar http://www.fanmail.biz/toolbar/toolbar.php as this lets you search for celebs by name using a search box. This is much easier than trying to find your celebs alphabetically!

By the way, some of the best and most reliable celebs to try for your first few autos are: Judge Judy, John Travolta and Ewan McGregor. There are many others, please check out the "Feedback" forum to get a better idea about the most active signers!!!
