IRC and prices

Hi,
I have got some questions about sending to USA from Europe.

How much is the IRC??? I asked on it in my post office and they told me that one IRC costs about 1,90 dollars and they told me that 1 IRC takes care to one letter but I don´t understand it cause I know that you send 2 IRCs

And the second question is- how weight usualy the envelope with photo???

IRC's seem to be a real problem for most people (me included)!

An average letter in an A4 (9x12) envelope with a photo should not weigh any more than about 60g (2.2 oz)

To get a 10x8 back from the USA to Europe would cost you US$1.60 (normally 2 x 0.80c IRC's)

So if your post office will only sell you IRC's at US$1.90, then you would only need one to cover your reply.

I will have to devise it. I wanna some great signs and when I don´t send SASE, my chances are minor. I will have to ask on my offiće one more time- in Czech Republic cost 1 IRC 40,-Kc = cca. 1,75 dollars...cause when I must to send 2 IRCs, it is to expensive for me


And Ian, congrats to your successes, your sign of Tobey Maguire as Spiderman is amazing, I LOVE comics and I hope when I´ll send him photo, he´ll send me back his autograph

You don't need more the US$1.60 for a return letter from the USA.
