Sending a SAE

I was wondering how to send a SAE. I mean, do you usually bend it to put it into the other envelope? Because they have both the same size and since I'm sending a letter tomorrow I was just curious :]

I usually just bend a side of the SAE a little bit and then stuff it in the other envelope. With bigger (like 9X12) envelopes you can even fold the SAE in half before placing it in the envelope.
