Can you decorate the envelope you are sending?

Unread post by Carmelo15 »

I have never decorated my envelope before, so I would like to ask somebody who has.

My sister want to decorate the envelope she is sending to Miley Cyrus, and I told her not to cover the part where the post office guy will put stamps in and the return address part and the sending address.

My dad wants to know whether it will work. :neutral: So I want to ask. ;-)

Thanks in advance :mrgreen:

i don't really think it makes a difference if you decorate it or not, except oviously yours will stand out with all the color and everything :mrgreen: most people i know do it and receive a reply so i say go ahead and do it :D

Yes.. I've seen people do it and they still come back. Just dont cover the stamp or postage area and it will work.

Good luck {thumb2}

I've heard some celebs are put off or even scared by overly decorated envelopes, so personally I'd advise against it.

I also decorate my envelope but i don't cover the address and the stamp section. I normally draw like one flower or something on the front and decorate the back, and put the celebrity's name on the little flap

I've put stickers on some envelopes in the past and there was no trouble with it, I even received a reply from them!
I prefer decorating the letter though more than anything. :D

I put some stars or other little designs on the envelope. I just make sure that it is easy to read the address.

As Larisie was saying, I definitely prefer decorating the letter. I make my own border and sometimes add little designs to the page. One celebrity even commented that she loved the border I drew!

As long as the Celebs Address Is Clear and Readable, I don't think it really matters! {thumb2}
