With the way these new IRCs work , they only cover 10grams of postage in whatever country you are sending to .

If you are sending you own item to get signed , the weight will probably be at least 150grams - which would mean you need 15 .

As it is though , I think most actors will send your stuff back ( if they do send stuff back , that is ) if you send a couple of IRCs at least .

That is incorrect. 1 IRC will cover the minimum postage for an standard sized, unregistered air mail letter from one country to the other.

So, if your SAE is a regular-sized envelope 1 IRC will be sufficient. If you want a large envelope (such as a 9x12 inch) returned to you, aim to send 2 or 3 IRC's.

Btw, 15 IRC's for one letter is VERY excessive - for a start it'll cost me AUD $40.50 to have one letter sent back to me!!
