Help needed from UK people

Hi,
If i need a 54p stamp, can I use a mix of 1st and 2nd class stamps instead, so for example:

1 1st class stamp (34p) + 1 2nd stamp (24p)

Yes you can. You could even use 54 1p stamps if you wanted (and if you had room on the envelope!)

thanks, caz I relized the cards man utd send out is less then 10g, so I do not want to waste my72p stamps.
