How Do I send a Large Envelope?

How Do I send a Large Envelope?

When sending an a letter in a large envelope, do I just put stamps on it or do I have to take it to the post office? How many stamps should I put on it if I am sending a letter and an SASE in the large envelope?

To get the most accurate postage, you should take it to the post office.
However, i always send out large envelopes and i use two stamps on it. Works fine for me.

I don't know what you mean by large but what I do if sending just a letter and a 9x12 sase is I fold the 9x12 twice and put it into a #10 envelope which is 4 1/4 x 9 1/2 along with my letter which is always half a page.( I don't overkill my letters) and it costs 41 cents to mail.
