well what i usualy do is i send a standard enevelope it usualy works as both my enevelope which i use to write and as my sase the only time i dont as if their is need of a big enevelope like when i dont send a pic or when the person usualy uses bigger enevelopes like with one tree hill i got a postcard that says thanks for writing if youd like a autograph send a biger sase or something like that. and i also live in canada im sorry if this doesent make that much sense im waching the football game and typing at the same time.
what i mean is if you send a standard envelope as both it wont cost you much just one stamp on each if you send two big enevelopes one for the them to recieve and one for you to recive thats anywere from 2-3 stamps per enevelope make sense i also live in canada and this sending period (which im finnaly getting into after a month and a half) is the first time i am sending a biger envelope as a sase

To mail FROM the USA TO Canada:
A First-Class Mail® International - Large Envelope
$0.86 10g (.35 oz)
$0.86 20g (.70 oz)
$1.00 40g (1.40 oz)
$1.31 60g (2.10 oz)
$1.31 80g (2.80 oz)
$1.62 100g (3.50 oz)
Anyone know how heavy an 8x10 envelope with a 8x10 picture weighs by any chance? Think it would be under 40 grams? I'm not good at estimating weights
Thanks!

It is about one ounce-which is the 0.86 one. You could put 1.00 worth of stamps just to be on the safe side.lithium wrote: Anyone know how heavy an 8x10 envelope with a 8x10 picture weighs by any chance? Think it would be under 40 grams? I'm not good at estimating weights

As for postage going up... I certainly hope NOT!
