The "hon" and "sweetheart" thing would kind of be scary, if you ask me.. lol But the "I really loved you in.." is appropriate! I always do that..either that or "I think you did awesome in..."

Good luck!

Yeah I do the same thing with "I really loved you in..." "I think you were amazing in...". That's fine. But yeah "Hon" and "sweetheart" I agree, kind of scary.

Well like I wrote to Jordin Sparks, she's my age and I still said "Dear Jordin Sparks" and "Miss Sparks". I think it's more polite.

I never write, Mr or Mrs, but if someone is Sir or Dame, I always use it.

I still have had, a great deal of success, and Thank you letters.

I dont think, I would have, got so many replys, if anyone thought I was rude.

Calling stars by pet names like 'honey' is creepy - you don't know them on a first person basis. I ALWAYS use Mr/Ms/Mrs (Surname), as I think respect really stands out in letters! Its not wrong if you don't do it, but I just prefer to as I think it gives me an edge with certain celeb's who are reluctant to sign. I see nothing wrong with 'I loved you in' - you're not saying you loved the person, you're taking a shortcut in saying you loved how they portrayed the character!

I have never used Mr./Mrs. I always start with "Dear Full Name." I know this may not be the most politest but it has worked for me. :?
Of course I`m a witch. My Hogwarts letter just got a bit ... delayed

I would not say things as hon or honey. But i have also had a letter back from a celeb, witch is calling me honey :? . So depends on the celeb i guess.

I would never write "honey" in my letters, but then again, I don't really used it in everyday speech either. As for what you called celebrities, I never write Miss, Mrs, Mr... I always just write the first name. Its never really been a problem. I would find it weirk writing to someone a few years older than me and calling them Miss. But that may just be the way I've been brought up.

thats the same thing with me. i do use "honey", "sweetheart", "babe", etc in my every day life and naturally it enderd up in my letters, goood thing i poof read it before. but i also cant imagine using mr/ ms in my letters because i don respect them, it doesnt follow in my letter
