I was wondering what everyone thinks about sending back a thank you letter? Its not to anyone that is really famous, I just wanted to send a thank you beacuse he sent me a hand-written 4 page response a hat and an authentic personilized auto. I really doubt that he gets much fan mail at all. Hes really nice and seemed really thrilled to get my letter also. So what do you think? Thanks!

Since he sent you such a nice response, I would send him a thank you note.

A caution to sending thank you notes to well known people: it would add to their mail and maybe cause that person to stop signing.

But in your case, shnapple, a thank you note would be a real nice gesture.

Ok thanks, I wouldnt do it if he was a big star but most likely he wouldnt have sent me such great stuff if he was a big star anyway.

Yes, since he's lesser known, then I think that'd be great!

If it's someone like..John Travolta, I wouldn't bother because chances are, they won't even care all that much. It won't cause them to stop signing (maybe if it gets a bit excessive..) though.

Wow, that is a great response I would definitely send back a thank you letter. For well known stars it is not a good idea to send back thank you letters, as as people have said it may clog up their fanmail and stop them signing
