Writing VV??????????

I was wandering how writing vv works. Do You Address it to say the band that would be playing at the venue and then write the address underneath. And How Close to the concert date would you send it off. I am asking this because Th John Butler Trio Will be playing in my city in roughly a month and I was wandering whether if I sent a CD case off to the venue requesting autographs, what the chances would be of me getting it signed and returned.

Hey! Welcome to the boards!

About vv--if it's in your city, just send it like a day or 2 before he performs on that day. And yes, you can just write the performer's name and the address of the venue underneath or you can just put ATTN: (Performer's name)..which ever way works!

Hello joelman!

Yes, you write the artist's name (in this case The John Butler Trio) and then you write the venue's address. If the venue is close to where you live, you can send it, as BABii_ANG3L stated, about 2 days before they are scheduled to perform. {thumb2}

Also, make sure the venue passes on fanmail before you send something like a CD case! You can check venues that do/don't pass on fanmail by clicking here.

When I send via venue I write the address like I write any other address.
Celebrity's Name
Venues Name
The Venue's Address

and, like Lizanne said, check to see if they pass on fanmail first!
