First Time Via Venue Sender NEED HELP ASAP!

This is my first time ever sending a VV request so I REALLY want it to work out BUT I have a dilemma.

I have two different addresses for the movie "State of Play"

The one for Andell Entertainment that I found on this site and another for Universal Pictures that I found on The Hollywood Reporter...after doing some research, I found no known successes for Andell Entertainment but I did find a few for Universal Pictures for "The Bourne Supremecy" which were pretty nice successes from Matt Damon etc.

I don't know which address to use!

This movie is being shot in LA and Washington DC so I'm not sure how to go about this...both companies are located in LA... so do the production companies foward the mail to the set where the actors are? Sorry, I've never sent a VV request before.

Someone please help!

Well, I am probably not the best one to listen to since I haven't had a good success rate VV, but I would go with the Andell Entertainment. Universal Pictures does a lot of movies and I would be afraid my letter would get lost in the mail, but that is just me. What about writing both venues?

I agree! I think you should try both places. Since the movie has a few A-list stars.. I would think that it would be best to get your requests in early and sent to both places where they may be filming at.

I actually sent an e-mail to Andell Entertainment because that's where I was leaning towards sending to and they just replied to me with this:

Dear Christine

Please contact the management of the actors you are interested in; this information should be available online.

Andell Entertainment

I'm guessing from this brief response that they do not pass on fanmail so I'm going to say a prayer and send it to Universal...at least they do pass on fanmail.

Universal has been known to produce a lot of successes. But I did see one quick success from Rachel McAdams when someone wrote to State of Play via the Andell Ent. address. So I wrote to that one too just about two weeks ago.
