I presume you mean football as in soccer and not the American type?! For any player/club regardless, you need to include a letter requesting an autograph, as well as a envelope with enough return postage. The question of sending your own photos differs from club to club. For example, Manchester United send out their own photos, but then you have a club like Arsenal who require you to purchase official photos off their website and send those. Who do you want to write to specifically?

hey dao! Welcome to the boards!

Well, what I'd do is say.. I've enclosed a self-addressed-stamped-envelope or self-addressed-envelope and international reply coupon for your convenience.

Hmm...that is hard. I kinda get what you're saying..that you just send a letter? That's hard for me to answer because I always try to send something to cover the postage. Maybe you can just write to them and at the end, write something like 'Thank you so much for your time + I hope to hear back from you soon!'.

Perhaps try sending a return envelope along with your letter - if you send a return envelope, they know that you are expecting something to be sent back to you!
