Sending to the U.K.

Unread post by Shifmaster »

Hi, Thanks for visiting my post!

I have a question:

When I'm sending a 9x6 inch Envelope from America to the Untied Kingdom how many 41 cent stamps would I need?

Thank-You for your time!

From my experience, the Post Office charges me $1.80 for all my mailings to the UK. I usually mail an 8x10 envelope + another 8x10 SASE + letter. So I'd say 4 First Class Stamps if you want to be risky, and 5 to be certain. Or just go to the Post Office for exact change {thumb2}
There's nothing like seeing your own handwriting on a letter addressed to yourself in your mailbox :D

It depends on how much it weighs.

One ounce:0.80 (about the weight of a letter and 9X12 SASE)
two ounces: 1.80

If you have more question let me know. Good luck with your letter! {up}

When I've sent to the UK, I've gotten by with from $1.20 to $1.60 (3-4 stamps) going there on a 9x11, and I only send $2 for return postage.
Thanks for the avatar Hangman!! ^^
