Size of an envelope

Unread post by eternaldance »

hi guys i was just wondering what size of the envelope do you use.. is it a4 ??
and does it change the cost of the postage if ill send a4 instead of a5 (the weight of the postage will be basicly the same) ???

i guess it depends on weight, not on size but im not sure..
ill be thankful for some advice

I don't really know what size an a4/a5 is, sorry. I use 6"x9" envelopes. :)

Usually, I send a A4 envelope with my request. It's perfect. I guess it'll be the same price as shipping with an A5 but it's best if you send an A4. If you send like an A5 along with your request, it'll cost you more to mail since it's bigger.

Assuming you're in the UK? A4 cost more to send than A5 as they're bigger. Personally I use A5 envelopes 99% of the time, the only time I dont is when I'm sending 8x10s or a magazine cover or something. If you're unsure, get it weighed at the post office, especially as they price of postage has just gone up...again.
