HELLO!

Ok, so im super-new at everything but i got some celebrity addresses and i am going to try and send a letter to them requesting an autographed photo. Is there anything i need to know? What is a SASE and things that people are saying they sent? Thank you soo much!

a SASE is a Self-addressed stamped envelope...hope that helps

If you want to request an autograph, follow the guidelines bellow. If you just want to mail a letter with the address above, and do not want anything back, then you can stop reading! If you live in UK send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo. You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes. Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response. If you do not live in UK, add several* International Reply Coupons. The International Reply Coupons (IRC) will be used by the receiver to purchase english stamps. You can only get them at your post office. Place the IRCs into the envelope, not on it. Make sure your letters polite and its also nice to write abit more then a request, always say please and thankyou, having an autograph isnt a right its a privlidge(sp?) {thumb2}

Also my advice is start off slowly, you don't have to send pictures to sign most celebs have them already but you can send your own if you like.

What I did is start off with a few in my country and wrote to agencys. Then I wrote to Via venue which is when a celeb is filming, musicals and concerts then began abroad.
