Sometimes not sending a photo will increase chances of not getting replies..maybe they send out pre-prints, like they did for mine when I only sent a SASE to Amber Tamblyn. Photos are pretty expensive to print out now but it depends on each person. Some celebrities require you to send something to sign, while most don't. If you can't print out photos, just send like an index card.

If it's a singer your writting to, and u have their cd, you could send them the cd cover. Or you could send a actor you like a dvd cover!
